Aaron's New Room

It took much longer than expected, but Aaron's room is finally done!  Here are a few before and after pics.

 

This bean bag is huge, and most nights he sleeps on it instead of in bed!

 

Glad it's done, and glad it turned out so well.  He loves it!

Jenks Aquarium

This week was the boys' spring break, so Mom and Dad took them to the Jenks Aquarium on Friday.  They had a blast!

 

Not sure what this is, but it looks unreal!

Dog House

Here is the dog house Denny and the boys made.  They had fun working on it, and it turned out great.  Hopefully Sadie will like it!

 

Every Boy Needs a Dog

Here is the newest addition to our family!  The boys have wanted a dog for a long time, so Denny and I finally gave in.  We got her from our local shelter, and she is a Pointer mix.  Her name is Sadie, but  her full name is Sadie Saphira Dodson. The boys think I'm crazy for giving her a middle name, but we had a hard time deciding between the two.  So, I figured we'd make one be her middle name!

 

We took Sadie with us to Atwoods to buy all of her stuff.  She was perfect and even slept part of the way.  She's still a puppy, and it's been a big day for her!

 

 

She was fixed just 2 days ago, so we're letting her sleep in a crate until her incision is healed.  That way I can make sure it's clean and dry.

 

She's made herself right at home.

We borrowed the crate from my brother, so it's huge.  She seems to like it, though.

 

 

 

Electric Drums

Aaron has been taking drum lessons, and really loves it.  So, we decided he needed something to practice on at home.  Since he'll have to practice in his room we decided an electric set would be the best.  This way he can put on headphones and we won't hear it.  Of course, I want to hear my boy rock out so we also bought an amp for it.  He's in love!

 

We are in the process of redoing his room to make room for them.  Hopefully we can paint this weekend, cause I'm ready to get his furniture out of our living room!

Trout Tournament

Ryan at the Robber's Cave Trout Tournament.  He didn't catch anything, but as long as he's outdoors he's happy!

When Ryan got home we made "pine needle tea."  It wasn't very good, but at least we tried!

 

 

Volcano

The boys got a volcano kit for Christmas, so we tried it out on one of our snow days.  The boys had fun, so thank you Aunt Nette!
