Love it!

My brother surprised me with this last night and I love it!  He made it from some pallets he got from Bemac.  Denny hung it for me this evening and it looks perfect!

Ryan's Birthday Party

Today we had Ryan's party here in McAlester.  Sorry I didn't get pictures of all the family that was here, but everyone just wants to see the kids, right?

Not as pretty as Tia Silvia's cake, but Ryan and I had fun making our M&M Ice cream dessert.

Uncle William knew just what to get Ryan!

Clark wanted to help Ryan with his gifts.

She gets older and more beautiful every day!

The water was cold, but the kids didn't care!

Happy 9th Birthday to my fun loving boy!

Arch

We couldn't go to St. Louis without going up in the arch!

This is the doorway into the "pod" that you ride to the top.  Not creepy at all, right?

This was my "I'm having a wonderful time riding in a cramped space on a bumpy ride where I can't see where I'm going" face.
It actually wasn't too bad.  The ride down was faster than on the way up.  Plus I knew what to expect, so it was easy peezy!

Here are the boys looking out one of the windows at the top of the arch.

The below picture are all taken from one of the windows.  This first one is a picture of the hotel we stayed in.  We were on the 25th floor.

St. Louis Cardinals

While in St. Louis we watched the Cardinals play the Padres.  It was the boys first baseball game, and they loved it!  Aaron has already asked about going to another one!

St. Louis

After Granny's party we drove to St. Louis for a mini vacation.  We had so much fun, we are all ready to go back!

We had a beautiful view from our hotel window.  We kept the shades pulled back when we were in the room, because you could see the arch on one side, and the Cardinal's stadium on the other!

Our room was huge, so we had plenty of room for all of our stuff, and for the boys to wrestle in the floor!

Watching fireworks from our hotel window.  How cool is that!

While walking around we found the subway, or transit.  I've never seen one, and was so excited!  I know I looked crazy all giggly and snapping pictures down there, but I didn't care.  Next time I will definitely ride it somewhere!

Love it!

Ryan's Birthday in MO

Ryan woke up raring to go on his birthday!
We checked out of the hotel and drove to Monett to have a party with Denny's family.  I can't believe he is 9 years old now!

As always, Tia Silvia outdid herself on the cake!

It's hard to tell in the picture, but he wanted a hunting themed party.

Ryan talked Uncle Darrin into a quick swim before the party.

Looks a little dangerous with the knife, huh?

Money is always a good gift!  He also got bullets and a nerf gun with a target.

That night the boys did fireworks.
It was another great day!
