Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have so much to be thankful for, it's hard to know where to start!
I am so thankful for my family, and that they raised me in church.
I'm thankful I was born here in the US.  Our nation is heading in the wrong direction, but for now it is still a free country where I can worship without fear or hiding.
I'm thankful that even though I've had a rough few months, nothing was terminal.  Kidney stones are manageable.  I know I'm blessed that it wasn't something worse.
I'm thankful for all my family (& church family) that have helped me and prayed for me these past few months.  It was a blow to my pride to allow help, but a blow my ego needed. :)
I'm also thankful for my wonderful husband and sons. I can't imagine going a day without them.
Last, but definitely not least, is my Lord Jesus Christ.  I'm thankful that he died on the cross for sinners like me.  He knew we would sin, and that some would never repent, but yet he still died for us.  I will never fully understand his love and forgiveness, but am forever thankful for it.

Thanksgiving lunch with the family.

Turkey legs!

After lunch Dad helped the boys put new fishing line on their poles.

Ryan holding a spool of fishing line.

Poor Denny is starting to get a cold, but he was able to enjoy the day anyway.

Aaron is getting too old...and looking it too!

After lunch Mom decorated the tree in the den.  The baby-sitting kids will like it!
