Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have so much to be thankful for, it's hard to know where to start!
I am so thankful for my family, and that they raised me in church.
I'm thankful I was born here in the US.  Our nation is heading in the wrong direction, but for now it is still a free country where I can worship without fear or hiding.
I'm thankful that even though I've had a rough few months, nothing was terminal.  Kidney stones are manageable.  I know I'm blessed that it wasn't something worse.
I'm thankful for all my family (& church family) that have helped me and prayed for me these past few months.  It was a blow to my pride to allow help, but a blow my ego needed. :)
I'm also thankful for my wonderful husband and sons. I can't imagine going a day without them.
Last, but definitely not least, is my Lord Jesus Christ.  I'm thankful that he died on the cross for sinners like me.  He knew we would sin, and that some would never repent, but yet he still died for us.  I will never fully understand his love and forgiveness, but am forever thankful for it.

Thanksgiving lunch with the family.

Turkey legs!

After lunch Dad helped the boys put new fishing line on their poles.

Ryan holding a spool of fishing line.

Poor Denny is starting to get a cold, but he was able to enjoy the day anyway.

Aaron is getting too old...and looking it too!

After lunch Mom decorated the tree in the den.  The baby-sitting kids will like it!

Ryan lost his 1st tooth!

Ryan lost his 1st tooth yesterday!  He pulled it himself while eating supper.  Well, he was done eating after that!  A few weeks ago he showed me that his permanent tooth was growing in behind his baby tooth.  I called the dentist in a panic, and he said to have Ryan really wiggle and work on the tooth.  Ryan took that to heart and has wiggled it every chance he got!

Happy Birthday!

This weekend was Avery & Clark's birthday party.  They had it at our wellness center, and it was in the therapy pool. The water was super warm....my kind of swimming!
I'm so glad that we live in the same town.  I love watching them grow up.  Just wish it wouldn't happen so fast!

Avery is 5!

Clark is 2!

Clark loved the icing!

We had a fun time!

Family Pics

Last Sunday we tried to get some pictures for our Christmas Cards.  I'm not a very good photographer, but here are some of the better ones.

Few Quick Pics

The boys (and Denny) are really getting into fishing!  I think they'd go daily if they could!

Last Saturday was beautiful, so we decided to put up our Christmas lights.  We haven't plugged them in yet, but it won't be much longer!  Denny has one more string of lights to hang, and then we'll be ready.

After Aaron helped Denny with the lights, he went and got a book to read, and soak up the sun!

Ryan is still to wild to trust with the lights, but when they're done Denny lets him go up on the roof for a little while.
