1st Day of School

The boys went back to school this week, and a lot of changes have come with it.  Ryan is in 3rd grade, and Aaron is in 7th.  Yes, that's right, Aaron is now a middle schooler.  Yikes, that's hard on a momma's heart.  Aaron's heart is doing fine, however.  He's loving it all right now, especially getting to move up to the teen section in our youth group.  I'm glad he's excited about everything, but I feel like I've seen him mature and grow up just in this past week.  Please slow the grow buddy!!

Ryan wishes it was summer all year round.  He doesn't like the confines of the classroom, and then having homework in the evenings.  But, he's taking it all in stride and has had fun seeing all his friends again.

Baptism

Ryan was baptized Sunday while we were in MO.  Pa Pa Ken baptized him, and that in itself is very special.  We're very proud of Ryan and the decision he's made!

It's pretty neat that all 4 of us have been baptized in this church, and all by Ken!

Daisy Mae

We had a party for Daisy Mae in Monett.  She's already 1 year old!

Tia Silvia makes a good cake!

Family & Branson

The weekend before school started we went to MO to visit Denny's family.  We haven't seen David's family since Daisy Mae was born, so it was a special trip.  We all went to Branson and these are pictures from the Promise Land Zoo.

This is a Christian zoo, so there were Bible verses posted all over.

This is the Parakeet house.  They give you a stick with food on the end, and they flock to you when you walk in the door.

My little roo!

Ryan had fun with his cousin Dax!

Daisy loved all the animals.

We all went to play putt putt at Pirates Cove.  I got 3 hole in ones, and I still didn't beat Denny!

We spent one night in Branson.  It's always fun to stay in a hotel!

Denny and the boys went to White Water.  It was foggy and rainy at first, but turned out to be a sunny day.  It was the boys first time at a water park, and they loved it!
